Halloween is just around the corner, and if you’re looking for the perfect neighborhoods to enjoy some of my favorite spooktacular trick-or-treating in the East Valley, you’re in for a treat. Mesa, Gilbert, and Queen Creek offer a wealth of neighborhoods where the Halloween spirit comes alive with beautifully decorated homes, welcoming neighbors, AMAZING neighborhood parties, haunted houses and plenty of treats! Let’s make Halloween memorable for our favorite people! Plus, we’ll throw in some PRO Tips for a hauntingly good journey!
PRO TIP (I’ve been doing this a LONG time..): HOUSES CLOSER TOGETHER, IN A NON-TRANSIENT NEIGHBORHOOD, WITH TIGHT COMMUNITY BONDS, ARE THE BEST PLACES TO SCORE THE MOST CANDY AND GENERALLY HAVE INDIVIDUALS WHO PUT ON THE BEST SHOW:-).
1. Mesa
Downtown Mesa: (Map). Known for its historic charm, Downtown Mesa transforms into a Halloween wonderland as residents go all out with decorations and candy for the little ghouls and goblins.
The Groves: (Map). A family-friendly neighborhood that doesn’t skimp on Halloween spirit, The Groves is a delightful place to trick-or-treat with beautifully decorated homes, a few haunted houses and a welcoming atmosphere.
Las Sendas: (Map). Offering stunning mountain scenery and friendly neighbors, Las Sendas provides a memorable Halloween experience in a picturesque setting.
Eastmark: (Map). My PERSONAL FAV! I’ve never seen a neighborhood with so much fun and Halloween spirit! There are entire streets that shut down for fun Carnival-like atmosphere! Plus, the houses are so close together, the kids score a LOT of candy FAST!
2. Gilbert
Gilbert Historic District: (Map). This charming area features quaint streets, an abundance of treats, and a festive Halloween spirit that’s perfect for a family night of trick-or-treating.
Power Ranch: (Map). Renowned for its elaborate decorations and friendly community atmosphere, Power Ranch is a popular choice for those seeking an immersive Halloween experience.
Morrison Ranch: (Map). Featuring wide streets and beautifully themed decorations, Morrison Ranch promises an unforgettable Halloween adventure. Definitely a FAV!
3. Queen Creek
Queen Creek Station: (Map). A close-knit community where impressive Halloween displays light up the night, offering a unique and enjoyable trick-or-treating experience.
San Tan Heights: (Map). With spacious streets and plenty of enthusiastic candy-givers, San Tan Heights is perfect for families looking for a fantastic Halloween adventure.
Crismon Heights: (Map). A quiet and safe neighborhood, Crismon Heights caters to trick-or-treaters of all ages, making it an ideal choice for families.
Montelena: (Map). Another quiet, close-knit community with a couple haunted houses the kids will love!
